Casa Ana Maria was built in 2004 and stands on a hill side with spectacular views over Lake Vinuela and the surrounding mountains.
The villa is sited on two floors with the pool located on a third level below. The villa can be rented as either a three or a four bedroom villa. The main entrance opens into a hallway with an adjoining shower room and then to the ;
Kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge freezer., plenty of utensils.
The adjoining open plan lounge and dining area includes a wall mounted television, book shelves and a fireplace with a wood burner for winter months. Sliding doors lead to the first patio with great views over Lake Vinuela. Dining area with table and chairs. Patio doors leading to the terrace.
Both internal and external stairs lead down to the next level;
Mater Bedroom; (available with a four bedroom let) This is air conditioned and luxuriously furnished with a king size bed, fitted wardrobes with dressing area, door leading to en-suite with walk in wet room with rain shower wash hand basin and toilet. Patio doors lead from the bedroom to a large patio terrace which in turn leads down external stairs to the pool
Bedroom 4 Air conditioned twin bedroom, with large wardrobe, bedside table and lights. From the twin room access to a corridor which gives you to the master room. (If rented as a four bedroom property.
Bedroom 2 Air-conditioned and ceiling fan with double bed, built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lights, patio door to lower terrace, and door to the en-suite wet room, shower wash hand basin and toilet.

Bedroom 3 Air-conditioned and ceiling fan double bed, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and lights.
All rooms have air-conditioning, which also act as heaters in the winter. A further flight of stairs takes you down to the pool level..
There is a large terrace around the villa overlooking the lake on the living level including a covered area with comfortable seating BBQ table and chairs for dining, sun loungers and a pull out sun blind if you need extra shade. External stairs lead down to another terrace, here you can also access the master bedroom and bedroom two via patio doors.
There is a 8x4m heated pool which also has stunning views of the lake and mountains.
The villa is just a 5 minute walk from El Charco restaurant, famous in the area for its grills, and then within a further 5 minute walk is the main village of Los Romanes with two bars, two grocery shops, bakery and a boutique hotel.
There are a number of great walks from the house into the adjoining hills, and the lake with its amenities is either a 4km drive or a 2km walk.

We are able to offer extremely competitive car rental from Malaga airport, alternatively we can arrange to transfer you to the villa from the airport and the car will be delivered to your villa. Should you arrange to collect your car at the airport, our agent will meet you, hand you the keys and you will be on your way in minutes, potentially saving you up to an hour and a half queuing at the rental desk.
We can arrange for a chef to come to the villa and cook a memorable dinner for you, they will cook, serve and clear away….you wont know that they have been!
In the immediate area you can walk, go bird-watching, paint, or for the more energetic; mountain bike, kayak or sail on Lake Vinuela.
We can arrange for days out that include, walking and cycling tours, boat trips, wake-boarding, sightseeing and even a flight from our local airstrip. You will be both collected and returned to your villa, allowing all of your party to fully enjoy the day.
Prices are in Pounds Sterling per week, and bookings will be confirmed upon payment of a 25% non-refundable deposit with the remainder to be paid in full, 6 weeks before your holiday start date. On receipt of your enquiry, we will hold your requested dates for seven days to allow your deposit to reach our bank account.
We do not take a damage deposit; however, there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver charge of £8GBp per person per booking. This covers accidental damage that may occur in your villa during your holiday and it will cover you up to the value of £150GBp. Negligent or wilful behaviour is not covered by this charge. Should this occur you will be asked to cover the cost of this damage locally. This applies to standard bookings only, we will require an additional damage deposit if you are renting a property to hold a function.
There are a selection of books, toys and games for guests use.
Due to airline luggage restrictions, linen and all towels, including pool towels are provided. The villa is thoroughly cleaned prior to occupation and again in accordance with length of stay. There will be a change of linen with stays over ten nights. Additional cleaning is provided as required but will be subject to extra charge.
We have no fixed changeover days and we will always try to be flexible to suit your flights and arrival times, however, when it is unavoidable and to allow time for a thorough clean; we would ask that you vacate by 10.00 and not arrive before 16.00. We have no problem with late arrivals, however, any guests scheduled to arrive at the villa between 20.00 and 23.59 there will be a €30 surcharge, and for arrivals between 00.00 and 07.00 it will be €50 payable locally.
We provide a complimentary welcome grocery pack for stays of one week or more. We can provide a ‘full shop’ as long as you send us your list a week in advance of your arrival, for cost price, plus €30Eu.
Notes on accommodation
There is no smoking inside the villa, however ashtrays are provided on the terraces. Baby equipment can be provided at extra cost, e.g. cots and highchair. A golf club hire service is available upon request. We are unable to accommodate pets.
