Frequently Asked Questions

Here is our list of the most frequently asked questions and their answers. We hope you find this useful. If you can’t find the question or answer here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Full details on how to do so are on the ‘contact us’ page.

Covid-19 Update:

Due to the corona virus, all our bookings have been cancelled up to the 1st July, if you need any paperwork from ourselves to your holiday insurance to confirm your holiday has been cancelled just let us know. If you are want to cancel your holiday after 1st July, you will have to contact your holiday insurance company.
The Spanish Government now have a timetable of opening up ‘normal life’, beginning in May including bars and beaches, so we are fully expecting most things being back to normal from at least the 1st July, many flights appear to be starting from mid-June.
Due to the current uncertainties, we do not expect your holiday balance payments to be paid six weeks before your arrival date, we will accept payment by credit card and bank transfer, a week before arrival, or cash in Euros on arrival.
We always make sure our villas are spotlessly clean before your arrival, but we would like to assure you that everything will be disinfected, including all outside furniture and sunbeds before arrivals.
At the moment there are zero cases of corona virus around Lake Vinuela, and as all of our villas have their own private pools and gardens, we feel you will be much safer rather than staying in a hotel with lots of people and sharing sunbeds.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate in contacting us.

Most pools are maintained and in use all year round. Some guests do swim in the winter months
even though the water is cold from November through to the end of March. Some pools are heated
by ‘heat exchangers’, we endeavour to maintain approx. 10 deg C above the ambient temperature; when not in use and at night, please use the pool covers supplied otherwise the pool temperature will drop considerably. There is a safety feature on the heat exchangers which automatically shut down to prevent damage if it becomes too cold, it will then become impossible to heat the pool until the weather improves.
