House Description

Villa la Duna Alta is located in the middle of nature near the white village of La Viñuela, with the famous reservoir, and has its own swimming pool with beautiful views of the mountains of the Sierra de Tejada nature reserve. The reservoir of La Viñuela is a 5-minute drive or a nice walk of about an hour. The villa is only 700 meters from the main road, but because of its location it is only the birds that you hear.

There are several terraces at the villa where there is always a place in the sun or shade. There are 6 sunbeds with thick mattresses by the large pool, two beautiful breakfast and/or drinks dinner spots, each with 6 seats, all with unforgettable views. The villa has 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.

The master bedroom has an extra large bathroom, double sink and walk-in shower with a private, large balcony. From the bedthere is a beautiful view of the surroundings.

The second room: bathroom with bath, washbasin and also a beautiful balcony.

The third room has a washbasin and shower, this room is located on the ground floor.

All bathrooms have a private toilet and a bidet. There is also a guest toilet on the ground floor. There is air conditioning in each bedroom with aseparate fan.

The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. A double oven, microwave, spacious fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Kitchen utensils such as: toaster, hand blender, juicer, kettle, coffee maker, ironing equipment, etc. etc.

 

The living room is air-conditioned, cosy and modern,. It has a three-seater leather sofa, a comfortably spacious leather armchair, and 2 other fabric armchairs, plus of course, a large flat screen smart TV, so bring your Firestick.  In the dining area there is a modern glass table with six seats. For the chillier winter evenings there is also a pellet burner.

The Area

The villa is about 20 km from the beaches in Torre del Mar and 35 km from the lovely seaside town of Nerja. Malaga airport is about 40 minutes drive. The possibilities for walks in the area are great.

The Parque Natural is recommended. But the Camino del Rey is also an experience that hikers should not miss. Mountain bikers can also fully enjoy themselves in the area. For golf enthusiasts, there is the 18-hole Baviera Golf in Caleta Velez (18 km) and the Añoreta Golf in Rincon de la Victoria (27 km).

Malaga is of course recommended for city trips. Within an hour you are in the center, with many sights. Such as: the Picasso museum in the Palacio de Buenavista, the Alcazaba a former Moorish fortress with a beautiful view over Malaga, the old center with countless restaurants, luxury or “just” delicious tapas.

If you want to go shopping, Calle Marques Larios is a good starting point. Department store El Corte Ingles with countless variety of (luxury) products And much more.

Granada (with the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada ski area), Cordoba (Mezquita!!!!!) and Seville can be visited in one day.
