House Description

Set in an amazing location with stupendous views, less than an hour from Malaga airport and only 20 minutes to the beach, this three bedroomed, two bathroom fully equipped villa. All rooms have air conditioned, with hot and cold for the winter evenings, wood burning stove.

Lounge

On entering the villa takes you in to the open plan lounge/diner, which has a three seater sofa and a two seater, TV with English channels, Wifi, nest of tables, sideboard where you will find glasses and all the information you require on the villa and area around the villa. Books for your enjoyment while you are at the villa. Patio door to the terrace with the magnificent view to the lake and mountains.

Kitchen

Fully fitted kitchen, with electric oven, hob , fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and all the utensils you would expect to find in a well stocked villa.

Mater Bedroom

Double bed, bedside tables and lights, wardrobe,  dressing table, mirror and chair, with the windows overlooking the lake.  Door to;

En- suite

Walk in shower, wash hand basin and toilet and hairdryer.

Bedroom 2

Twin single beds, bedside table and light, fitted wardrobe, dressing table mirror and chair.

Family bathroom

Bath with shower over, wash hand basin and toilet

Outside

Park your car off the road, and walk in through the undercover dining  terrace where there is a dining table and six chairs.

The gardens have fruit trees with fruit that you are free to pick when they are in season…..even strawberries. There are several terraces, where you can follow the sun or keep in the shade, you can jump in and out of your own private pool all day long, we have enough sunbeds and pool towels for everyone. There is a gas barbecue on the upper dining terrace where you can look at the panoramic and breathtaking views of Lake Vinuela and, and as the sunsets, the ever changing colours of Mount Maroma.

The rest of the terraces are at the back of the villa overlooking the lake. the large terrace straight from the lounge has another dining table and chairs, gas BBQ, down the steps to the pool terrace, where there are the sun loungers, outside shower, and a covered terrace, to miss the midday sun, where you will find another table and chairs, so plenty of choice where to sit or dine outside.

The villa is on the outskirts of the pretty white Andalucian village of Los Romanes, here there are several restaurants and bars, there is also a busy kiosk where both visitors and locals pass the warm summer evenings. There are a couple of shops, and the village has its own Olive oil press where you can buy a bottle ‘of the best olive oil you can get’, to take home with you. Around the back of the village you can see the raisin beds, this is where the grapes that do not go to be used for Malaga wine, are dried and shipped up to supermarkets in Northern Europe.

Travelling further afield whilst staying in the villa, places like the Alhambra Palace, Marbella and Antequera are only about an hour and a bit away, with Gibraltar, Cordoba and Seville just around a two hour drive; if you go to Gibraltar don’t forget your passport.

We have no problem with ‘any day’ or late arrivals, however, any guests scheduled to arrive at the villa between 20.00 and 23.59 there will be a €50 surcharge, and for arrivals between 00.00 and 07.00 it will be €100 payable locally.
